OK first I haven't blogged in a while. Partly because I've been busy and partly because I'm lazy, lol.
But yeah, once again follow me on Twitter cause I update and stuff way more than I do here. Plus I'm almost at 1000 tweets! woot.
Ok so today's Old Year's (New Year's Eve) and there's alot I want to change about myself in the new year. First and foremost with my grades in school. CSEC exams are in May and I gotta work way harder in certain subjects like Chemistry and Add Maths in particular.
Second, I wanna improve myself personality wise, lol. But yeah, not be so shy and insecure and whatnot. Also I wanna be orgasnized and do more to help others. Yea I know sounds lame but I actually wanna do it.
Thirdly, I wanna learn to play guitar well and swim. I don't think's it's a good idea to live in a tropical area and not learn to swim hehe.
Anyways, so what's your new year's resolution? Leave a comment =]

Doing a reply to my friend Levi's (http://www.differenttriniguy.blogspot.com/) post about talking about your true music tastes. Well...
My favourite genres are rock (alternative and punk), hip-hop, rap and pop. I don't have genres that I hate, but I'm not too crazy about stuff like classical and jazz. Oh yeah and I don't know that much about country, but Taylor Swift is pretty good so...
I'm not really embarrassed about the music I like, but I have artists like Britney Spears, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga and Miley Cyrus which may be laughed upon by some, but I don't really care.
Persons in my school may criticize me for the amount of the so-called "white people" music on my ipod, but Calypso and soca doesn't appeal to me THAT much to have it on my ipod...
Oh yeah I've already said this but my favourite band is Green Day. I like them because their music is real, the way they criticize the hypocrisy of the government and the way they incorporate many different themes into one song. And they're not THAT mainstream, which I like because I seem to have a thing where I don't really like musicians that steal all stoplight, (cough, Black Eyed Peas cough)
I leave you with my favourite song of the moment, Give me Novacaine by Green Day

Hey, just a quick a post.
So I was playing Tap Tap Revenge 2 (i know lame) and I came across this song that's really catchy!
It's called Kiss with a Fist by Florence and the Machine (i think).
I don't even know what genre to classify it in. It's sounds like country, but I think it's Indie Pop, lol.
Anyways I'll post a link of the song below.
BTW, the music video doesn't do the song any justice...

So recently I have been teaching myself to play guitar. It was pretty hard at first (and still is) plus I can't really correct my errors by myself that well. But on the plus side, I don't have to pay for lessons hehe and I can practise on my own time.
I was inspired by...well you know rock bands, especially Green Day and Linkin Park. I wanted to learn electric guitar (or even bass) but my parents already have an acoustic one, and they don't want me blasting an electric guitar around the house....
So I figured once I get the hang of acoustic, I'll save up and buy an electric one. It shouldn't be too hard to learn if I manage to learn acoustic guitar good enough.
And if I really get into to music, one day I wanna learn piano! Word

Today was the last day of school. And I (like my friend Levi) don't feel as much freedom as I normally do.
Exams are over (for now), 3 weeks of no school- I am supposed to be happy. Why am I not happy!..probably cause my parents said I have to study a lot during the vacation and I have A LOT of extra lessons.
But anyways Christmas is coming up and December is my favourite month. It just seems that everyone is in a good mood in December lol.
P.S. I soo wished it snows where I live!! I experienced snow for the first time this year (in Canada) and it was awesome!

Always has been my best science. Biology and Chem are like pig latin to me (which is not a good sign if I wanna go into medecine...) but anyways I smoked the Physics exam today hehe.
Well I thought I did until after the exam when I realised I worked the second part of the last question wrong. It was worth 12 marks..but I still might get some marks for working anyway.
Tomorrow I have Chemistry and Add Math- my two worste subjects, so I'm not tooo excited about it...
Anyways
If you have a Twitter account, you could follow me

Gonna get back to studying Physics for tomorrow's exam. I'll post another exam update soon.

OK, before I start talking about Lady GaGa I just wanna say that I am so stressed right now! My exams start Monday and I am nowhere near prepared. And if I fail my exams again, my parents are gonna flip...
Anyways about Lady Gaga...she is...interesting....to say the least. I mean, I thought she was on meth or something when I first saw her. Do you see the outfits she wears?! But after a while I realized that she's actually a really good singer . So yeah, her new song "Bad Romance" is really catchy and she's looks smokin in the music video hehe.

OK, so before I start, I'm gonna say that this post is gonna be kinda weird. K here I go...
So I have always been a very "reserved" person... except around my friends, where I am as crazy as possible.
But especially around people I don't know I become all serious and quiet. I don't why but I hate it.
My parents have been telling me about it all my life and they say I gotta be more outgoing and whatnot......
I guess I'm just afraid people would get a bad impression of me so I unconsciously try to remain all quiet and stuff.
I suppose I just gotta be more secure and go around living normally and not giving a damn about what people think of me. It's really your true friends who judge you beyond first impressions and see past minor imperfections.
Self esteem is all about how you estimate yourself. And the fact is if I don't rate myself very highly, others won't either...
So yeah, that was me just venting...
Told ya this blog was gonna be weird.

So apparently I have a Physics project on electromagnetism (which I haven't started yet) due tomorrow. I also had one due last week on Logic Gates which I stayed up till midnight trying to finish and he didn't pick up yet.
So right now I'm wondering if I should spend the entire night doing the project or don't do it tonight (cuz he probably won't pick it up tomorrow anyway) and do revision for exams starting on the 30th of November.
I'll probably end up doing some of the project tonight and do the rest some other time, like when the teacher is actually going to pick it up. So yeah, I think I should stop blabbing now and go do my work.

Yup, Green Day is my favourite band. I mean, their lyrics, melody and solos are awesome! Plus they're kinda unique. Their latest albums are Rock Operas, where the songs are inter-related and they actually tell a story. And to me, that's like the coolest thing since sliced bread.
Also, recently I was falling victim to the catchy, mainstream, electronic, bubblegum pop trash music....which to me, really isn't good music at all. I guess those songs are good for parties and whatever, but I prefer songs with meaning to them, ya know?
But GD's new album 21st Century Breakdown kinda slapped me across the face and made me see the light. So anyways, check out Green Day if you don't know about them ^_^.

Well it's been a full two weeks since my last blog. Tomorow is the final day of my lessons, but that doesn't mean the studying comes to an end. My lessons started last Monday, with a full five five days of Physics lessons, now five days of Chemistry lessons on random days.
I suppose I shouldn't be complaining about the lessons considering I need them. I got back my results last Friday and they were short of acceptable. 39% in AS Maths, 41% in Chemistry and 51% in Biology? Not good. I really have to put much more emphasis on studying. My parents are even considering me repeating Form 4, although it's not very likely.
Also, from Saturday last to Tuesdday (18th- 21st) I went ot Mayaro with Mummy, Uncle Alim, Aunty Ayesha, Amir and Omar. They arrived on the 15th. It has been a very busy week filled with stress and enjoyment at the same time.

So recently I've been having a bad case of writer's block. This is for my youtube channel, BarnieAndFrenz ( http://youtube.com/BarnieAndFrenz ).
I have found it becoming increasingly difficult to come with new material for my videos. To make matters worse, it's finally summer and I can't come up with any video ideas. All throughout the school year, I kept saying to myself that I would make a lot of awesome videos during the summer.
Now, that time has finally reached and my ideas have run dry.
Fortunately I was able to film one today and I already edited and uploaded it. It's called "YO MAMA". I am awaiting the feedback from my subscribers. One thing I find though, is that alot of my subscribers don't actually watch my videos. They're either people who subscribe to alot of people for their own publicity, or people who hardly ever log on to Youtube.
However, my cousins are coming down to spend 6 weeks so hopefully we can pitch together ideas and make good videos.

So today was the MJ memorial. I watched the entire thing. It was very entertaining and emotional. I guess people are just gonna have to accept that the "King of Pop" is gone. During the speech, some people said his title should be changed to the 'greatest entertainer of all time'.
One thing I noticed though, all of the speaker at the memorial were black except for one or two, haha. Also, basketball player Magic Johnson said he remembered MJ eating KFC with him one day. I heard some people say that KFC sales would go up today, lol.
So yeah over the past week or two I've really become a fan of his music. I mean, I knew some of his songs before like 'Beat it' but I didn't really know too much about him. When he died I did alot of research on his life. He was a humanitarian and holds the record for most charities supported by a celebrity. He was a great singer and dancer as well, obviously. It was digusting how the media ridiculed him.
Well I guess that's the past. This blog was basically about Michael Jackson. I wish his family the best of luck.
R.I.P. Michael, now you can finally be at peace.

So I have really been neglecting my blog lately. So I decided that now it's summer I would have a fresh start where blogging is concerned.
I deleted all my previous blogs and changed the layout for my blog page.
So now I'm gonna do blogs more often throughout the summer and hopefully it'll pick up from there.
